This fine quality porcelain is made for us in a
workshop in Portugal using traditional methods, with clay imported from
Limoges. The patterns shown are traditional, but there is a wider range
available on request. We have a full range of plates, sauce boats and
serving dishes including both the modern and the larger traditional soup
plates (which are also useful for pasta). There are also tea and coffee
sets. All patterns shown can be
delivered by courier for fast, safe receipt.
This beautifully decorated
floral pattern was created for the Portuguese East India Company in the
eighteenth century and shows their coat of arms as part of the
decoration.
Plain white with a gold border,
this understated design is the absolutely classic pattern for a dinner
service that will compliment most other designs and dining rooms.
Based on an early nineteenth
century design with subtle inter-working of red blue and gold within the
outer and inner bands. In the centre is small blue and gold floral motif
within a blue and gold band.
This sumptuous design was created for a European royal
house during the nineteenth century and originally had a coat of arms in
the centre. Now it is just a beautiful design using gold with just a
touch of blue decoration.
Cobalt blue was traditionally the most expensive of pigments used in the manufacture of porcelain and antique examples are always expensive. It is now possible to achieve the richness of the deep blue and white at an affordable price.
