RAFAL HEYDEL MANKOO
APPOINTED AS HERALDRY CONSULTANT
Following the untimely death of our Heraldry Consultant David Lumsden of Cushnie, The Heraldic Porcelain Company is pleased to announce the appointment of
Rafal Heydel Mankoo as our new Consultant on heraldic matters.
Rafal is an editor of Burke's Peerage & Gentry and is the co-author and co-editor of Burke’s World Orders of Knighthood & Merit, for which he received the Prize of the Confederation International de Genealogie et d’Heraldique.
One of North America’s principal royal commentators he appears frequently on television and radio and has appeared as an expert before the British House of Commons Select Committee tasked with studying reform of the British Honours System. Now resident in London, Rafal is a former director of the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada. He is also an expert on Polish nobility and is the author of The Titled Families of Poland.
Rafal is a Trustee of the Canadian Royal Heritage Trust, a Council Member of the Royal Stuart Society, a Committee Member of the Polish Order of Malta Volunteers, and a Commissioner for the International Commission for Orders of Chivalry.
